Usui/Holy Fire® III - Reiki I & II - Practitioner Training

If you are new to Reiki, the Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki I & II class is a natural place to begin.

This foundational training has no prerequisites and gently introduces you to Reiki as both a healing practice and a way of working with energy in everyday life.

By the end of the class, you will have received your Reiki placements, a certificate of completion, and the skills needed to offer Reiki to yourself and others.

​Many students find that this training opens the door to deeper self-awareness, personal healing, and a more steady connection to their inner guidance.

Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki builds on the traditional system of Usui Reiki Ryoho, founded by Dr. Mikao Usui, and integrates Holy Fire® Reiki, a more recent evolution introduced by William Lee Rand. Together, they offer a complete and modern approach to Reiki that is both deeply rooted and gently expansive.

In this training, you learn the foundational practices of Usui Reiki alongside Holy Fire® Reiki, giving you a well-rounded understanding of how Reiki works and how to use it with confidence, clarity, and integrity.
Reiki I and II are taught together in a weekend intensive.

During the class, you receive both placements and are guided step by step through the essential practices of Reiki, including:
  • Reiki hand positions for self-healing and working with others
  • Traditional Japanese Reiki techniques taught by Dr. Usui, such as Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho, Byosen scanning, and Kenyoku
  • An understanding of what Reiki is, how it works, and how it supports healing on physical, emotional, and energetic levels
  • The history and lineage of Reiki, from Dr. Usui through its development to the present day
  • Reiki II symbols and how to use them with confidence
  • Techniques for distance Reiki, as well as working with habits, relationships, and patterns

Classes include ample time for hands-on practice, or distance practice for online students. You will both give and receive full Reiki sessions, practice self-treatment, work with the Reiki II symbols, and experience distance healing in a supported learning environment.

Each student receives a comprehensive 192-page class manual from the International Center for Reiki Training and a certificate upon completion. While the weekend provides a strong foundation, ongoing personal practice is encouraged, as confidence and fluency with Reiki naturally deepen through continued use.
